This album is an artfully remastered version of several classic Toadies songs. These new versions bring a different interpretation to the forefront of the mind as you listen. Of course, I'm biased, because The Toadies can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. This album is haunting and brilliant, beautiful and moody, all at the same time. Well done, Toadies! <3

If you're a fan you'll love this. Great new versions of all your toadies favs plus some great new tunes. Tyler has never sounded better. Todd Lewis can still hit every note!

The new songs are really good and I would love to hear the reverse electric guitar versions. "Heart of Glass" seems more Vaden speaking his feeling than a cover. The songs PK and RR and BS are all almost weirder this reimagined way. My favorites besides the new songs are the reworkings of "Tyler", "Dollskin", "The appeal", "Jigsaw Girl". They give me chills. Great album that seems a thank you to the fans. I also wish it had been two discs of material.

It is always an interesting experience to hear a seemingly one dimensional band switch things up and blow away expectations. The Toadies fortunately have never been one dimensional. One only has to attend their performances to truly understand the awesome rock power this band wields. So this album, although certainly a departure from the all out Texas-rock assault we have enjoyed over the past two decades, is no surprise to the fans as being just as welcomed and invigorating as the rest of their catalog. This is an album from a creative and talented group that goes beyond an acoustic rehashing of their most popular songs. At points it becomes deeply resonant of the first time I heard “Possum Kingdom” and encouraging a restart of a beautifully produced track (see “The Appeal”. In short, this is an album deserves to be heard and is proof that The Toadies may still have power to remain relevant rockers.

Been a Toadies fan since day 1. While their newer albums didn't grab me the way the first 2 did I've still always found some gems in each one. If you're one who likes acoustic versions, or just different versions, of great songs then this album will not disappoint. It has a lot of my favorties along with some really good new songs. Hell I would have bought this album just to hear the new versions of Tyler and Dollskin whenever I want.
