This is a great album! I was not a fan of Katharine McPhee until I saw her and liked her a lot on her TV show, "Scorpion." I thought I would check out the album, and I was extremely impressed. It should have been a hit. It has many potential hit songs including,"Stranger Than Fiction," "Feather," "Break," "Round Your Little Finger," to name a few. Ironically, the only song I do not like is "Lick My Lips," which, unfortunately, was the only single. I still listen to this record quite a bit a year after it came out, and I can't say that about a lot of albums these days. I highly reccommend folks buy this.

Wow, what can I say? This is all I ever wanted from a Katharine McPhee record : it has VIBE, it's current and sleek and well vocally-choreographed. It's like she finally knows what her true singing contempo is and it is now singled out onto every track. Best adult contemporary album I've heard in so long. To the person that said talent wasted, I do agree she is not singing for what we've probably come to have known for a while as "her staging element": but at least she's made a break from one shell and into another that showcases her own capable melody as a studio stay on this one - a good example "Don't Need Love" and "Break." Those are really different from that they have a very "mod" lyrical sound statement on them. So at least there's some innovation going on. And all songs do show her unique solo delivery for the same reasons I mentioned above in the first paragraph. The voice she possesses is so good and she can pretty well contemporize a song where some would sound over-courageous and just downright stupid. On the whole the vocal is daring and bold but still emotionally in tact. There's some way she has that is contemporary and go-for-broke "catchy" - alot of time smartly sensual. This album isn't pitchy either and she didn't oversing this time around. The first listen, a little apprehensive. But now I'm hooked. Nothing is sung as too schmaltzy or overstated. It has an ultramodern sound only with a really mellow and newfangled vogue twist that I can't really describe or put into words. I love it, anyway.

Where have I been. This album is amazing.

She is by far one of the best America idols that has been on the competition! This is so great and can't wait for more more from her!!! Love Katharine!!!

I like the songs Lick My Lips and Hysteria. But let me get some more time to feel out the rest of the album.

This album is really good but I agree with some other reviews. Katharine McPhee's voice is amazing and these songs don't really show her talent enough. She just sounds like any other pop singer on the radio. She deserves better songwriters. Songwriters that can make songs that can really highlight her beautiful voice.

I'm in love with every song!!

This is a great overall album from a talented, underrated artist. It’s her strongest work yet. Definitely worth it!
