I have yet to be disappointed with any Jack White related material, and the Dead Weather has been arguably my favorite. After listening to this album almost every day in the car since its been released, I find myself frequently skipping to the 3-5 best songs like the other two albums. Like some tracks on the 1st Album, one might discover how amazing some of this stuff is after listening to it a couple times. I love how this band has now for the 3rd time created another great album with a unique sound. But I must add, it doesn't come close to their 2nd release, which has yet to be surpassed. Many waited a long time for this album. It is missing something, perhaps if your not going to put the effort into touring at all, the album shouldn't have been made. With that said, well done guys and gal but please get together and make album four the album that fans have been waiting for. In regards to the comment concerning what was said in a certain Rolling Stone article by Mr. White; This reviewer may not be a musician because, only by being one myself, did I understand Mr. Whites frustration. The guy knows what he is talking about. I agree 100% his sound is being imitated by at least one band in particular. Back to this album, it is another instant Dead Weather classic and while it could be more cohesive, it certainly does not disappoint.

I've been waiting a while for new material from these guys and they didn't disppoint. It's a solid album through and through. "Cop and Go" has got to be the best song this band has ever made, period. I've had that track on repeat a lot lately. Mosshart's dark and powerful vocals really take a step up on this track.

Doesn’t quite have the same grit as the first two albums. This is a good album but just lacks the depth the other two had.

OK, not sure what this band is about. Singer is terrible, I never liked the vocals from day one, just bad. I know Jack is great but this is bad, bad bad. I wanted to like them a lot and I cannot enjoy anything because of the bad lead vocals, sounds like cat stuck under a tire.
