If you groove to mellow, jazzy pop, then you'll love this one. More transcendent work from the incomparable Tim Buckley. As it's difficult to find, don't waste your time if you're thinking of downloading it. I only rated it a 5 because you can't rate it a 6!

That itunes has this and the other out of print cd Starsailor but not Happy/Sad or Goodbye Hello his best albums which has his best singing. You can easily get those on Amazon. This is better then starsailor becasue unlike starsailor there are actual songs on here. This to me is like a weeker version of Happy/Sad though it is good.

I have been searching for this album on CD for years. You could always find music by Tim Buckley, but to me Blue River is one of the finest albums you will ever hear. The tone is dark and the music melancholy, some may even describe it as depressing but I believe it some of the most beautiful I’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. Buckley’s voice has always been exceptional and clearly adds to the tone and mood of the music on this CD. If you like soft, beautiful music then you need to own this CD I am so happy that I-tunes have added this CD to their library, Thank You!
