Straight Outta Burbank - EP

Though I am not into the first song, I personally found this EP enjoyable (like the last one.) This is how bands show respect to others, and it is a great way to spread old music to new generations. It does not matter whats the reasons are for doing these cover EP's, but there is hardly any reasons to tear the band apart just for doing a bunch of covers. If you don't like it, at least try to appreciate the fact they paid a homage to a great band.

Its always cool to hear a different artists version of classic rock! Stone Sour did not disappoint.

Just bad

1. Stone Sour doesn't wear masks, that's Slipknot, Corey Taylor's other band. 2. Speaking of Taylor, he's been busy with Slipknot, solo shows and a book. 3. Bands can't take a little time to relax and put out a few covers while they wait for the cards to properly align? And so, there will be a 3rd set of covers, "No Sleep Till Burbank" coming out on record store day and it'll be here a short time afterwards (as of this writing anyway). As for why I give it 4 stars, they covered an artist I just cannot stand at all: Motley Crue. Even though the cover here is good, I wish they had chosen something else to cover.

A real low in Corey Taylor's life....this is garbage

I can appreciate anything Corey Taylor does. He's not afraid to step outside of the realm. Better than the originals? You're out of your mind tho

I loved Corey's voiceon the albumb and i loved the song choices!!

I have never heard this band before, but these songs are stellar! They are a great hard rock band! I think they should stick to the middle of the road rock stuff and avoid the heavier rock like the last song on the EP. This band could be the next Creed with some good original songs. Rock on!
