    Love the movie and this music. Just for fun I picked up the original theme song too. More likely the orchestral pieces will get picked more often but it doesn't have to be either or.

    I don't understand the 1-star reviews for what is obviously the orchestral score. If you don't like the movie, go to Rotten Tomatoes. If you don't like that it's missing the famous "Ghostbusters" song, go to the Ghostbusters album that has the songs (you'll find the original GB song by Ray Parker and three covers of it, as well as other tracks). On this album, Shapiro provides a solid accompaniment to the film - it's not a transcendent score that lends itself to stand-alone listening to the degree that some of the greats like Star Wars or Gladiator do, but it supports the movie and there is a good balance of original material and nods to the 1984 film. "The Aldridge Mansion" sets the mood with characteristic creepiness and is one of my favorites. If you're looking for the moments where the classic theme song shows up, check out the up-tempo "Ley Lines" or action-packed "Battle of Times Square." Happy listening.

    Dont waste your time, the soundtrack reflects the movie:crappy. Just listen to the 1984 classic music
