I have listened to Eric since the early days of Ridgely with Kevin. His style has changed so much and yet I still find myself buying and listening. The guy just writes great stuff. Hope to see him in Austin in this Nov.

Eric is an artist in every sense of the word. Another great album amongst a discography of great albums.

Beautiful story-songs from an incredible songwriter, taking the stories of broken or discarded people and objects and turning them into redemptive beauty. Musically, it's a departure from his typical style, and that growth-through-discomfort gives the songs vibrancy and life. I had no idea how he'd top Birds of Relocation, but Eric Peters has done it with grace and humility.

There are moments, listening to this album, that I feel like I'm listening to an artist I've never heard before. But then, over and over again, I hear the same Eric Peters I've enjoyed in Birds of Relocation, Chrome, Miracle of Forgetting, and more come through the fascinating new arrangements. There is a fresh newness to this album, and an originality. And then there is the winsome sweetness of Eric's lyrics, tone, and music. I've never heard anything like this from Eric before, and yet it is perfectly familiar.

The production is great on this album. Love the ambient sounds and the multiple layers. I found myself identifying with so many of the songs. There is a slightly somber feel to the album but also a hopeful sound. Very much like real life.

A beautiful, soul wrenching, insightful, and honest look into the daily struggles and even inner turmoils of life. Eric has created more than just an album, he has a created a soundtrack for every season of life.
