Summer Calling

There are no words to express the emotion in this song, and in specific, in the Airwave mix. My collection of electronic music has been growing for years, and of all the songs in my library, I have yet to get tired of this song. When it comes to electronic songs (or trance, or other similar types of music), there's typically a catch or hook in the song that draws you into it. If you listen to that song or hook enough, your emotional tie to that song begins to fade and you lose interest in the song. I bought this song when it came out, and have heard it literally hundreds and hundreds of times. Each time, I get goosebumps throughout the song. It never gets old.

The Airwave Mix is the most captivating mix of trance i've heard yet. It's the one extended mix that doesn't get old halfway through the song. I confess to not be a big Gabriel & Dresden fan and didn't find their mix very interesting. It really bored me to death.

Don't try to compare this song to "Beautiful Things", cause this is in a league all its own. The vocals are once again amazing, and the samples of Mavie's humming really sells it. The Gabriel & Dresden and Airwave mixes are extremely extremely good trance pieces. Buy both of them. Same length, different sound.

I'm so excited to see that iTunes has finally added Andain's first single. The lyrics are simple, yet beautiful and the addition of the vocalist Mavie Marcos' humming fits perfectly into the style of the song. All of the mixes are great, though the Gabriel & Dresden Mix is my favorite. I would also suggest buying her second single, "Beautiful Things". Thank you iTunes for adding this hard to come by single and I hope you add Andain's full-length album when it's released later this year.
