  • It’s ok

I didn’t love this album. I felt like the keyboards and vocals drowned out everything else in the album and it just felt flat. There’s some good work done here and there but I wish they gave Eric more of the spotlight with his guitar work.

Loved their debut album. Strong, compelling and gorgeous music, leading to this album that runs in another direction. Musically, there is some bright spots in the lyrics that leaves you scrambling to figure out the story. For me, this album was a let down since you have no idea of the concept. If anything, it sounds more in line as a Neal Morse solo album. Part of me feels this album was made to show they could do it. The music, story and lyrics took a backseat to it.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before now but another amazing album by an amazing musician. How does he keep doing it? God only knows
  • Magnificent concept prog

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard, and I've been at this for decades. It's Neal Morse so you know there will be heavy spiritual themes and elements, and The Pilgrim's Progress is easily researchable if you want to know the plot. This album is so finely composed and exquisitely performed that it stands up with or without regard to that aspect. Ultimately the songs pack an emotional punch.

Another stellar release from Neal Morse. This has gone into my top 5 favorite albums of all time. But please go to Radiant Records and buy it there much cheaper, plus the band gets all of it rather than the fraction that Apple pays them.

I was lucky enough to see the band perform this last week. There is no adjective strong enough to describe how good they were. Go see them if you can. Great songs, vocals and musicianship .I am thrilled that somebody can still make music like this. Why it is $25 on I Tunes I don't know,so buy it elsewhere but do buy it and enjoy.

This is my favorite album in a very long time. Probably since Dream Theaters "Scenes from a memory" which is my all time favorite. This is that good!

Great album but I think the price is steep for an iTunes purchase.
