These artists are incredible. I couldn't stop listening until I had heard all of the songs on the album. Every song is well written and performed, each voice with its own unique and delightful contribution. The small ensemble sound is a perfect match for their in-your-face messages - not over done or over produced - they simply stand on their own. A for Attitude, ladies!

This is a terrific collection of songs. Not only are the lyrics fabulous (how can you NOT love "there's lightning in these thunder thighs..."?) but the instrumentation is wonderful as well.

I think people of ALL ages woud love this music. But those of us over 40 are sure to be delighted with the ageless appeal of The Uppity Blues women. While they are decidedly playing to a female market, this man thinks they are wonderful. The music has wit, charm and just enough bawdiness to make it fun to listen to. Silver Beaver is a perfect anthem for the mature woman. I wish I had a male version of the song to be MY anthem. C'est La Vie!
