There comes a time in every bands career when they should stop making music black flag hit that point long ago, right around my war. I thought after listening to slip it in and my war, that this album might be better, i was wrong. This is not black flag at all. The black flag i know is the fast hardcore punk black flag from nervous breakdown till damaged. I would not recommend this album at all to anyone.

But the spoken word... it's pathetic. I actually laugh when I listen to it. It's Henry Rollins trying really hard to be Jello Biafra and failing. Sorry guys, I love BF, but come on... 'I wanna crucify you on your front door... with nails from your well stocked garage."

Family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... family man... Buy this. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. It's spoken word (no instruments) and Instrumental (no vocals) except for the song Armageddon Man...

I'm not the biggest Black Flag fan, but when I checked this out I thought it was music. I listened to it and thought it was kinda sweet. The song family man is cool. If you're a big flag fan, then get this

the negative reviews on here kept me from getting this album of the same band as my namesake. when i got it i was shocked to learn they had no clue what they were talking about. This album is just as good as any Flag album. The spoken word songs are very puzzling in their meanings, while the musicianship on the Insturmental tracks you can see grew very much since thier First EP Nervous Breakdown. The entire band may only join together on one song But the breath-taking riffs of Greg Ginn on "Armageddon Man" are worth it. Probably the best insturmental on here is "I Won't Stick Any of You..." with the Jazz like playing of all the insturments this album can not be labeled awful until you have heard the whole thing.
