Latin Soul Syndicate does not fail once on this CD. Every track delivers a fresh new sound from Salsa to Mambo. It's great for dancing or just hanging around the house. Keembara and El Gitano del Amor are definitely two of the best songs out there.

i love this CD so much that I gave it to all my friends for Christmas. every song is so tasty, each with a unique fresh groove. this band brings it on EVERY track. it's good for dancing, chilling, and my wife listens to it while cooking!
  • my favorite album of the year; heard 1 song on The Sopranos

This is my favorite CD of the year. Every second of music is so cool, full of life. No wasted grooves. For dance songs, I dig "Shake It" and "Scrathero Y Timbal". The gypsy sound is "El gitano Del Amor". The funky "Party In The Mission" and the afrobeat "Keembara". It wasa trip to hear "Mi Dia Bonita" on The Sopranos. Mark Pistel (from Consolidated) did the 2 remixes at the end.
  • Mi Dia Bonito: Perfect introduction for Latin music for Gringos

I think it's much better than that gringo-lounge-bossa-nova crap that is constantly overplayed at dinner parties full of "Refined" big-city liberals who think they know Latin music. Mi Dia Bonito is the biggest standout (for me) and it is guaranteed to get you grooving.
