These songs are full of hope, honesty and lyrical genius. Ross is truly a prophet and a poet. His gift for writing really shines here. There is a rawness and honesty that gives evidence to the human struggle that shaped these songs. Ross articulates deep theological truth, wrestles with difficult questions and packages it with solid, Nashville-tinged musical performances. Really good stuff!!

Ross has produced another stunning album. He delivers with powerful, moving lyrics and a terrific sound in each song. The ironic, Narnia-inspired He Is Not Safe, purposeful and reflective The Image of God, politically relevant Roam With You, and thoughtful study of Christ in Good Company all poke at accepted positions and challenge you to think more deeply. This Ain't Over, Celebrity, The Sky is Falling, and Only the Good Things support and fully draw out the overarching theme of the album. It's another remarkable and wonderful collection from a truly gifted songwriter.

Once again Ross King has provided us with thought provoking lyrical insights and just great music. Will definitely be wearing out this virtual CD!

The writing on this album is stupid good, and I can't find any more eloquent words to describe it. The 30 second clips are worth listening to, but I implore you to buy the album and listen to every single word. You may be challenged, offended, convicted, comforted, or validated, but you will not be unmoved. Thanks for this, Ross.

Ross King's songwriting is always first-rate. These songs wonderfully communicate the hope of resurrection in the midst of the darkness of our world. Great music and great lyrics!

Ross King is a fresh writer. Without cliches’, he manages to speak to the suffering we all endure in one way or another and puts great music to his keen observations. He is a creative instrument God uses to help us all know Him better and to lighten up on each other where we need to lighten up and to tighten the screws on each other where we need to tighten them. His music appeals to your emotion and intellect. He’s a prophetic bard.

Ross hits a home run again, and I just finished my first listen through. Highly anticipated, and highly pleased with the final product.
