Yeah, Lujon is a great tune. This LDLO version is nice but prefer Henry Mancini's which uses a french horn instead of the accordion. Give's me the chills when I listen. Mancini's Lujon can be found on the movie soundtrack, "The Big Lebowski". Also, on a Mancini CD called "Mr. Lucky goes Latin". Neither of which are on iTunes. Great stuff. Now, how about that vodka martini...shaken...not stirred.

Great stuff! Mood music extrordinaire for this film noir classic. By the way, if you like the cut "Lujon", you might be interested to know it's a Mancini piece also titled "Slow Hot Wind"....find it elsewhere in iTunes. And do check out the Sarah Vaughn rendition...AMAZING! good listening

The woman's voice on the title track is like Nico, kind of tuneless but interesting. The man's voice on other tracks is like duck farts on a muggy day... I love covers of old big band music, but this is too much of a mixed bag.
