    The Pointer Sisters we’re releasing an album a year from the late ‘70s through the mid ‘80s. This album continues their signature sound, but points to their future beat heavy sound with the title track (a favorite that was re-released to greater success a few years later) and “If You Wanna Get Back Your Lady”. They sound good on “All Of You” and “Heart Beat”; their take on Prince’s “I Feel For You” has grown on me. Weakest song here is “American Music” though it was a hit. Worth a listen for the highlights mentioned.
