I've listened to a lot of rock music in my day, both Secular and Christian and I have yet to find an album that tops this one. The VERY BEST ROCK ALBUM OF ALL TIME!

I love these guys. This style of rock is pure - not overly produced but instead with real vocals, excellent guitar, bass and drum work. Guardian also has a nice diversity. Get in the groove with "Mr.Do Wrong", be inspired by the story of "The Captain". Even opera fans might like the little bonus at the end of "Do You Know What Love is"!! :) My wife and I still say that 'our song' is "You and I". I'll be buying this album now for the third time (other CD's finally wore out!!). Highly recommended, and is a classic in my book.

This album is the best guardian album out there. Two songs from this album are on their best-of album. Curiosity killed the cat is THE most amazing song on this album.
  • The pinnacle of rock, Christian or not.

Okay, it's December 2006, and rock has changed a lot in 13 years, but once in awhile you find an album that has a timelessness about it, and Miracle Mile is that album for the rock genre. This was arguably Guardian's finest effort. With the slow, sweet ballads of Sweet Mystery and Do You Know What Love Is?, to the hard-driving rock of Dr. Jones and Sister Wisdom, Jaime Rowe's vocals are perfectly matched with Tony Palacios' riff-rock guitar style, and David Bach superbly fills in the bass lines while Karl Ney keeps the time with plenty of kick and that signature 90's rock snare. This album is definately a must have.
  • One of the best Rock albums in the history of Rock albums

Seriously, it's that good. I remember when this came out, I was in high school, and I had been listening to Fire and Love (their 2nd album) for a year or so, and I could not WAIT for this album. I got it the week it came out, and I was surprised at how much of a departure it was from the previous album. It wasn't a complete one-eighty, but it was quite a bit different, and I LOVED it...still do. In my opinion, this is the perfect melding of Jamie Rowe's vocals with Guardian's music, and I highly recommend it to everyone, Christians and non-Christians, rock fans and non-rock fans, young, old, hip, square, you get the idea. There is some GREAT music on this album, just take a listen to Dr. Jones, Shoeshine Johnny, I Found Love, The Captain, well, ANY of the tracks. Really. Why are you still reading? GO! LISTEN!
