This is flat out one of the best albums of the 90's by one of the most talented artists that most people have never heard of.

This album has been on my iPod and now on my iPhone since 1999. First heard this band on cable's Fuse which was a canadian type MTV. Load Me Up was a constant video playing back in the day. The song Suburbia is probably the most haunting song I have ever heard in my life. Get this album and hear it about three times it will become your favorite....trust me!

Yet another band that got love in Canada, but none in the U.S. Turns out the Canucks were right and we should have followed suit. Get this CD!

This album helped me appreciate music again. After being disappointed in the lack or original music, this album showed up and blew me away. Allow this to help you enter a world of an amazing mix or melody and intensity. Make this the start of your discovery of Matthew Good, and then check out the rest. Please start by listening to Giant, Deep Six, The Future is X-Rated, Everything is Automatic and Born to ____.

i remember hearing "giant" and thinking those people who love sunny day will pick up on this record but alas most do not. too bad for them, a great band and a great many classic indie songs.

MGB is probably one of the best bands that I have heard...ever. I first listened to Matthew Good's song "Weapon" that my dad had put on a mix and soon afterwards I got this CD (the Canadian version actually, so it's missing three songs from older albums as well as using a sort of "timeline" where each song corresponds to a time of day). That was about 3-4 years ago and I still listen to this CD and all of their other songs whenever they come up on my iPod. I just wish that the US store would pick up the entire MGB/Matthew Good catalog of music as he's an incredible musicion. Here's looking forward to "Hospital Music" at the end of the month.
