I really liked this album; especially for its political commentary...
- A fun album from start to finish.......

Somewhere in my collection, I have a video of Todd stating that he didn't want his music to become political. And then he put his foot in it. Fortunately for us, this album keeps the politics well down in the mix. I have always viewed Utopia as somewhat of an experiment. To be honest, I don't think they really wanted to be popular. They did, however want to make fun records. And this is a perfect example. For pop cred, see the eponymous "Utopia" album. Also known as the "Network LP". have a good listen to this one and ignore the subtle political messages. It's a nice relief from the self righteous arse that Rundgren would become once he discovered someone might be listening.

Seriously - this is a very musical album that contrary to the big words to my left, has many memorable pieces from a way under appreciated combo. That's all - Thanks Todd, Kasim, Roger and uh the really rockin drummer who sang as well !!
