    This is Black Swan Lane’s 7th release and hopefully not the last. I’ve been a fan of theirs since 2011 and not many bands in my lifetime compare with the songwriting of Jack Sobel and John Kolbeck. If you’re a fan of The Chameleons, Sun and the Moon, Catherine Wheel, Red House Painters, The Church, etc...you will absolutely love this album. The best album of 2017 hands down.

    Drop Joy Division and the National in a blender. Sprinkle in a little Echo & The Bunnymen plus The Horrors, and you've got Black Swan Lane. And yet, they can't be criticized for being obvious clones; their sound is all their own.
