This is surely Shoshana Bean's best recording. These cover songs are reimagined in ways you wouldn't expect. Two stand out : How Deep is the Ocean is haunting and smooth as silk. Make it Rain is a tour de force version of this song - that puts a woman's spin on the pain in the lyrics.
Well worth a listen.
