I discovered EA back in 2010 by accidentally downloading the song Opheliac thru frostwire lol I immediately fell in love with her style and music and once I listened more of her it filled my life with joy . This album is amazing is like every time I listen to it , it transports me to a fairytale where Only my dreams and desire matters . Amazing artist

It has to be her best album out of all the albums I have heard from her. I instantly fell in love with her when I heard I want my innocence back in 2006. When I heard the whole enchant album, I was wanting even more. a must listen if you like that mystical fairy type sound. She has so much talent.

EA knew what she was doing, even with her first album. She knew what we all wanted to hear. She has the voice of a faerie entrantress. She's as poetic as Shakespeare. Her violin is simply stunning. I would recommend the entire CD but my favorites are Rose Red, Across the Sky, How Strange, Castle Down, Juliet, and Rapunzel. Regardless of choice, the whole thing is amazing. I'm not disappointed. I call myself a Plague Rat and I'm proud of such a title. She always gives me something to go back to. This is a style of music I got into simply because of EA's elegance. Her style is so unique I simply cannot help to listen. Across the Sky and Rose Red were what got me interested despite my metal roots. And I confess that I am not disappointed at all. It's not like her newer stuff, but it's one of a kind and that's something simply to admire.

Her voice and music are so beautiful and unique! I've fallen in love with this album. I'm in another world when I listen to her songs. It's hard to describe this in mere words, but I'll try. It's just breath-taking! So different and unusual. I love it! It's unlike anything you've heard in rock. It's magical. Amazing. Sensational. Perfection.

Does Fiona Apple know she stole the music from "Criminal" for her "Second Hand Faith" song??

I constantly hear people compare Opheliac and Enchant, saying that one is inferior to the other, but it's not true. They are simply different yet beautiful and heartfelt chapters in her life.
  • Talented.

I give her 3 stars because I think there is so much talent here. Her voice is so beautiful but I can hear problems in it ( was a music and vocal major ) mainly it's because she is trying to be a little too stylized but that should not deter anyone from listening. She is quite unique in a very good way. Give her a shot. you might like it :)

I listen to EVERYTHING and i mean it! I even love a lot of the artists that the reviews are using in comparison to Emilie Autumn, hence the reason i went out on a limb and just bought the album (that and a recommendation from a friend) WOOPS!! I'm not sure if she's having some sort of identity crisis but her voice is very heavy vibrato which makes her tend to sound a little middle eastern mixed with everything else she's got goin on it just makes for a complete mess. Noise would be a nice way of putting it, and I listen to and love what most people consider noise. If you can download this for free or get a friend to burn you a copy first, do it, at least then if you hate it you won't feel ripped off like i do. Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about buying anything else of hers. I do like the violin, however, too bad that's not the only component of the music.
