There's nothing like turning a ballad into a medium tempo song. This isn't creative, it's putrid. The singing is not jazz, but badly sung pop that is way out of tune. Please, don't waste your money on this. If you read the "praise" that she's getting from these really amazing professionals, notice there is nothing from Wynton. He doesn't fool around by lying to people.

It's all here. Straight ahead jazz, to contemporary flair. This double Cd is amazing. I like the fact that it is two CD's, each with their own distinctive sound and style. It shows the versatility and talent of a real artist and a star in the making. The saxophone playing is done with such an intense understanding of the feeling of jazz, harmonics, rhythm, and improvisation. Billy Strayhorn must be smiling after Grace's renditions of Isfahan and Blood Count. Her compositional skills on disc two are fantastic for such a young talant. She crosses so many musical lines with success.
