This is a classic album by Janis Ian. When I heard at 17 when it came out the first time it touched me. I bought the LP when it came out and I was a fan for life. Her voice resonates with her music of deep sorrow, sadness, hurt, pain and misery. Through it all you can relate to the songs and the words. We’ve all been there, done that. Very powerful touching CD from beginning to end.

A product of the times; 70’s singer / songwriters. Poetic, melodic, catchy and thoughtful. Janis Ian was one of the best.
