Spectrum

I really wanted to like this latest Nili Brosh realease and I have managed to listen to this about four times on the way to work and so forth but I expected to hear some new, fresh and challanging guitar work but am left feeling disappointed and I dont know...annoyed? I listened hard for a riff or melody to grasp but ended up turing it off when blast of 90ish synthesizers attacked my ear reminding me to turn the music down cause it may cause ear damage. Anyway maybe I expected too much from this artist. It seamed she felt the need to twist and turn in this music spectrum of hers that I ended up not knowing what it was I was listening to...giutars, synths, flamenco dance lessons? There is a colorful spectrum of different kinds of music but this is too broad and off the mark for someone looking for shredding fresh guitar work with that Ibanez of hers as her primary voice and work of art.
