Spencer Bates is without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers I have seen perform live and his talent on the piano and vocals is extraordinary. His album Goodnight Rosebud is fantastic from beginning to end. I highly recommend you get it right now.

I have to say there arn't that many gifted piano based song writers out there that can craft and develop a song around their core concept. I was impressed with the passion this album had and parts of it still make you want to kick back and groove for a while.
Worth traveling for!

No big light-show or high-tech effects, but I'll still keep driving out to hear this music! As long as there's a piano or keyboard in front of SB, it's professional song-writing and vocals without the insane ticket-prices...for now :-) The quality translates just fine to CD, and I'm really glad I got it, works for road-trips as well as for sitting back at home with a drink and a book.
