This is a spectacular Christmas album, nowhere moreso than O Holy Night, the best version yet recorded.

Wow. Wow. Beautiful. A must listen to at Christmas time. All the songs are so Christian and about the reason for the Season is Jesus Christ the King. Modern with a slight sound of original Christmas hymns. Thank you God for music like this. All the singers are a gift from God. It is beautiful you have sheared this with the world. Listening to it brightens up my day. A must for any Christian. It will remind you Jesus is the Reason for the season. First time I heard “We Three Kings” I cried it was so beautiful.

I had never heard of Tommee Profitt. All I can say is, WHAT AN INTRODUCTION!! This album introduces the BIRTH OF A KING and it also the birth of a fan! I seriously can't put into words the excellence of musicianship found here. It says a lot when the artist is not intimidated by such incredible talent (the singers). The true talent of the album is Profitt himself in creating such a masterpiece. I love that he introduces the listener to new names and at the same time capitalizes on already established and loved (although less known than their talent deserves) artists (ie. Wells/Jobe/Crowder). 🎵 Noel and O Holy Night cause your jaw to drop further and further throughout the songs. 🎵 O Come All Ye Faithful is a beautiful, tender, and fresh rendition of a classic that has, for so long, deserved SO much more. 🎵 Hark the Herald Angels and Go Tell It on the Mountain get re-do's, which both honor the originals and give them amazingly gorgeous and memorable new sounds. 🎵 It Came Upon A Midnight Clear deserves end-credits recognition in some incredible movie 🎵 God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is just epic! I just LOVE this album. I'm all for "Rocking around the Christmas Tree" and "All I want for Christmas is You." They are fun and good for mall shopping, but Profitt's "THE BIRTH OF A KING" sets a deep and meaningful atmosphere for the most pivotal event in human history. Thanks to Tommee Profitt for a piece of art that is FOUNDATIONAL!
