Reviews

  • Good collection -- but edited versions of songs

I like the collection, but this compilation is like the old K-tel compilations that shorten the songs purposely so they can fit more on the physical CD. A perfect example is Heart's "Barracuda" which runs 4:20 on the original album and single, but is 3:37 here. The version on this album fades out early almost a minute before the actual song ends. That song is great because of the sudden ending, but on this album it's a fade out well before the song ends. There are others on here as well like that. Just be wary in buying this because you may find that only half your favorite song is here.
  • sweet album but...

wheres the song by midnight oil?also it says 1966 because the 1st song was made then and also the only explicit songs on here are killing in the name, got the life and maybe a few others.i would buy this at a store because then it has all the songs.

the album was made in 1966, but wonderwall was made in 1995.

Not all of the songs in this album i was very pleased with, Wonderwall however was terrific. ALSO - WONDERWALL IS NOT EXPLICIT it is just marked that way because some of the songs in the album were and they had to mark them all explicit.

Wait, why are some of these songs explicit? I'm pretty sure wonderwall doesnt have any swear words, the same with (Dont Fear) The Reaper or More Than A Feeling. And those guys didnt exist during 1966. I think they messed up the release date and the clean or explicit lyrics.
