They are versatile enough to do everything from original work to covers and really pull it off. Sugar High has their signature live, gritty, soulful sound in the recording and feel. If this album were food...yum! These guys really know how to come together and create some dynamic and fun songs. Great for cruising in the summer heat! If you like these guys, check out their lead singer Brenden Willing James, he's a great lyricist and performer!

this album is amazing. there are so many great songs on here. i truly love them all but here are some of my faves..."starlight spacetrains" its so hauntingly beautiful. "bullet chest beatrice" just makes me stop and listen and sing along. "hole in the sky" just freakin' rawks!! and all i can say is "sugar high" just gets me high!! they just have a great sound....fresh & full of feeling!! can't wait to hear more...and catch a local show in ventura someday!!

There's a little something for everyone on this CD. From folky ballads to stompin' bluesy country-fied singalongs to pure rock. It's nothing but a good time. Goes great with BBQ, beers & friends or a long road trip at night.
