- Music of Hope and Sadness

The music of Mejia Godoy is the music of hope and joy. It is also the music of a moment in time when everything seemed possible. In that way it is also sad - that time has gone, another, less hopeful time has replaced it. The music lives on, and with it the dream. Thanks to the Smithsonian for capturing it, and to iTunes for carrying it.
- How sad

I wonder how many of those people in the picture believe this record should be sold anywhere. It only reminds me of what Nicaragua was, what it could have been and what has become. All because of a bunch of socialitsts/communists that now have seen the light and ride in their Mercedes Benz thanks to their "glorious" revolution.
- It STINKS!!!

I grew up listening to this music and I'm so glad it's on iTunes! Luis Enrique's songs are directly about Nicaragua, the revolution, the changes and the strength we needed to move forward.
