So smooth.....get this album, invite your friends over and play this in the background. Everyone will be tapping their feet.....if you wanted to get into jazz this might help with the transition, but one will find no other band to compare, and these guys make jazz into a rock hybrid thing. I get some of the same feelings of wow with morphine w ports head. Don't forget the wine and candles and if you've never heard these guys....u can thank me later if you get some

What a ripoff it was losing Sandman, he was certainly a singular and profound talent who was taken much too soon.

This is one of the most under-appreciated albums ever. Morphine has such an innovative sound, I don' t think I've ever heard anything exactly the same. MUST OWN!!

This may have been their best album, but so many good songs followed on their next ones.... If you haven't heard Mark Sandman, you haven't lived. The world lost a great artist when he passed...man, to think we won't have anymore of these geniuses to grace our ears is a d%$* shame. Some of the most brilliant original music in a LONG time...maybe for for another long time...we miss you, Mark, more than you could ever know. Favorite of all: Thursday.

Perhaps the coolest band ever, a half-rock, half-jazz blend of bass, drums and baritone sax that sizzles and smokes.

My best friend gave me Cure for Pain for my sweet 16th birthday along with a silly picturebook Farside and a silly book mixed with jokes and silly stories. At first, I was disappointed because of the weird sound of the saxophone and bass. But then I think carefully so I wouldn't make my friend upset about my critical comment so I listen to them and I liked it. My favorites are Buena, All Wrong, Candy, Sheila and Mary, Won't You Call My Name? RIP Mark Sandman.

Less side effects than the drug + pretty darn good pain relief
