I discovered this album through pandora and couldn't be more satisfied with it. There is depth and thought, whimsy and transcendence in this music. Behold is the gem of the album; however, I don't see anyone talking about The Beginning. I found that track to be a great finish to the album. It was uplifting and catchy with layers of melodies that stuck in my mind far longer than any other track on the album. This is truly worth a listen.

'Runaway child' is pure genius. This song is amazing in the way it is bittersweet and still easy to listen to at any time. This album is too perfect for words.

Joey Fehrenbach masterfully intertwines ambience and electronica with a pop sensibility. At times the music movies into an easy-listening/smooth jazz vein ("Particles," for example), at times it's pure electronica ("The House…"), and that might appeal to fans of those genres. But where he is most ambient and atmospheric is where his music becomes transcendent (the magnificent "Behold").

The album is really good, but "Behold" and "Runaway Child" are particularly two gems that stand out. There's a kind of poetic sweetness to the music. I'm so glad I discovered Joey's music through Pandora.
