I love the album but I take issue with iTunes. I have been trying to get iTunes to clean up the digital trash at the very end of this song to no avail. It occurs at the end after the music ends and a short period if silence is interrupted by a blip of some other recording. Just a split second but still inexcusable.

This album is world class. Over 40 years later and Christopher Cross is still a staple of the adult contemporary class…The man was at the top of his game in 1980.

This guy comes out of Texas, gets all the best studio guys to play on his debut and creates magic. Good Songs, Good Musicians always works. Calling it Yacht Rock is a selling it short, if you like songcraft and melody and hooks then here it is. Pure Genius!

Incredibly Christopher Cross came out of nowhere. And won the Top Grammys for 1980. Beating out “Legends”! Televised February 1981. He could not believe it either. Of course the Album is good. But when you start up like that! Literally winning all major awards. “Album”, “Record”, “Song” “Male Pop”, “Best New Artist” of the year. Next song (single only) was “When You Get Caught Between The Moon & NYC” (from the Movie “Arthur”)His follow up album & others. Had virtually no Radio “Airplay” Which was all that was back then! Then he lost weight & looked a lot better. But we never heard from “Christopher Cross”anymore as far as anymore “Grammy Nomimations” Now its been 43yrs ago. Can anyone tell us if he has a “Cult following”? That is what happens in the Music Business. It is a shame for him. And for “Adult Contemporary” music lovers like me. Btw I remember I was 20yrs Old in 1980!
