I can’t believe the negative reviews for this. Slash has proven over and over again that he’s so much more than the guitarist from GNR. As a huge fan of both the blues (and Chris Stapleton) and my love for GNR (I was at Riverport) this album is exactly what I wanted right now! For those of you who weren’t aware - Slash was heavily influenced by the Blues. I think this is amazing and for the first time ever I had to download a few Slash songs for my mom.

Enough of these songs are pretty good so I bought the whole album. Nice to hear his take on some standards and like that he has different singers on them.
  • Trash music for has beens. Chris has lost a fan.

I'm disappointed in an artist like Chris that had a band like Steeldrivers with Gospel themes and now he's full 180 collaborating with Satanic hedonists. Another one bites the dust.

Slash’s amazing guitar work paired up with 11 equally outstanding singers and musicians. Every track is a winner.

Half of these reviews were before the album was even out. Some openly admit it. Actually listen to it before rating. Others are hard rock fans not knowing anything about the blues, or knowing that Slash was deeply influenced by the blues.

It's an absolute joke that some people give this a low star rating. This isn't that far off his usual killer music. It's just blues! Seriously, what kind of person, who likes rock, doesn't like blues:) This is a spectacular album.
  • Killing Floor. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love this version. KILLING FLOOR is a blue standard. Sung by a lot of people. When I first gave this a listen, I thought it might be Buddy Guy at first. But then I read that it was Brian Johnson from AC/DC! Would love to see him do this one live. I hope they make a video of this, because this is a treat. For everybody out there who's knocking the song a little bit, please don't. I realize rock 'n' roll, and heavy rock is your thing, but it all started from the blues. Country. If you want to hear something a little bit more heavy, blues song, check out Freddie King, a song called going down. It rocks. You can tell from the chords in the song, where rock got its foundation from. And a little bit of distortion down there doesn't hurt. But can't wait to get this album thank you Slash!
