Reviews

  • Very good, but depressing

I had trouble listening to this album not because any of the songs were bad, they were just very bleak. I feel bad that Taylor Swift has been going through tough times lately, but I just personally prefer her more upbeat records.

Definitely not my favorite TS album. Monotonous...wordy...unrelatable....forgettable....weak. I do like TS and many other albums midnights, reputation, 1989, red....

Shes definitely a lyrical genius with her music and her music only continues to get cooler ever since her transition into pop after each album release ! . I’m not to happy however that she decided to charge us all 2$ for like a 8 sec video before the album even released . Also I feel like her surprising us with a second part to the album on the release date was pretty unnecessary as well and that if she wanted us too get the full thing she could have choose to let us know some type of way like through her social media or something . Either that or not put her first album out for pre order because it’s Taylor swift for crying out loud we all know she’ll have a lot of fans buying both but it would be nice for her in the future to start thinking of the value of other people money vs trying to use her fans toto give her “even more money then she already has “ . But as far as the art itself in this album I really thought it was really good and that the lyrics were very well crafted into this album but in my opinion I don’t believe it to be her best work despite its stats or popularity and that’s honestly ok because unlike some artists out there she puts a lot of stuff out there so not every single album she dose has to be as good as the other . Ill keep listening to it in case it starts to grow on me and I decided to re-edit my review and give it five stars but for now I’m leaving it this way. I prefer her more upbeat, dance pop music a lot much more than this new sound she recently jumped into and as of right now my all-time favorite album will still remain to be reputation!!👍👍👏
  • No bonus songs :-(

I pre-ordered the album in iTunes, and was super excited to wake up to it having been downloaded. Imagine the disappointment when everyone is freaking out over the additional songs, but I never got because I pre-ordered! There should at least be a way to be able to download the missing tracks instead of repurchasing the entire album…lesson learned
  • Pre order scam

Just make the next one with 30 songs a dollar and we’ll be good
  • Evermore meets Midnights

Taylor never disappoints! Coming from a not-so-big-Swiftie, I think this album SLAPS. Spanning 16 tracks, TTPD has the same sparkle that makes Evermore and Midnights shine. Idc if I sound biased or not, but I love those eras and now I love this one even more. ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart’ has been on repeat since its release. Go Taylor!!
  • She need somebody to edit his album
