The Yayhoos remain the best band most people never heard of. From start to finish, "Put the Hammer Down" is a sonic napalm assault that pleases the R & R senses that few poseurs/pretenders/tragically hipsters (Jets, Strokes) today could accomplish. "Never give an inch" is typical Yathoo's, who possess R & R DNA lightweights on FM radio only dream about. In the Yayhoo's world, life is simple. Booze, babes, and lovin rule the roost. Dan Baird continues his knack for obtuse covers (Love Train) that are wet your pants fun. Don't buy this and you missed out on this summer's treat. Long live the Yayhoo's! The ITunes reviwer considers them a great "bar band". Missed the point dude, the Yayhoo's carry the torch of rock and roll.
