Not my cup of tea. This album is difficult to digest and is a drastic change from Gaga’s past albums. I like how she is on theme with her acting though.

I have not listened to this album yet. Just by reading the reviews I can tell its all done by pressed Katy Perry fans 😆 and all i can say is “what if the joke is on you?” Hahaha 🤡 #SMILE

It’s basically covers of songs I have loved all my life! My nana use to sing Good Morning to me as a child and I later learned it was from “Singing in the rain “ a movie from when my nana was a young girl! Gaga nailed it . I had tears in my eyes as the memories swept over me and the Karen Carpenter song Close to you “ has been covered before by I think Caron wheeler or Heem Guthrie but I like Gaga’s a new version it’s light and airy and she bends her notes do wonderfully ! She is a great song interpreter . No it’s not in the same vein as our old Gaga who made Alejandro and poker face but none of us are in those times anymore we’ve all grown and I’m thankful that Lady has changed as well and I’m here to support . The fickle public be darned!

This album is phenomenal. I didn’t really like the interpretation of the Joker in the first movie. I prefer a joker that is about halfway between Cesar Romero and Heath Ledger. Joaquin Phoenix version is too dark. But this album gives me hope that some lighter more comedic lines can be expected. In any case this music is really good!
