Cake is not bad of a rock band. They're music is mostly good, sometimes it can be just okay. Not that bad of a rock band, or an album, huh? You should listen to Short Skirt / Long Jacket, it's a pretty good song, and you'll like others tracks on this album, too!

I bought this album after seeing a music video for "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" and Cake ended up being one of my favorite bands. They have such a unique sound and it's almost like they created their own genre of music because it's hard to classify them. I liked every song on this album and I'm really bummed out I lost it. I think I'm going to have to rebuy it because it was that good. Definitely recommended for newer Cake fans. 👍

My best friend showed me this album he stole from his dad when I was about 8. It was one of the first things I bought on my first iPod, and Basically got me hooked on music in general. This is probably one of my favorite albums of all time, not to mention the fact that the songs are amazing.

No Cake album before Comfort Eagle quite matches up to this one, and no later album likely ever will. They've simply never sounded better than they do on this record. That's not to say that Cake's other albums aren't any good, it's quite the opposite actually. It's just that this is the pinnacle of their career - every song is well written, catchy, and unique. Do yourself a favor and buy this album. You won't regret it.

This is Cake's best of the best. From the title track (their single best song of their entire catalogue) to Opera Singer to Commissioning a Symphony in C...on and on. No filler. No song to skip over. Consistent feel throughout. If there's one Cake album to buy, without a doubt, this is the one.
