  • A Classic Lives On

There are several versions of this classic score available, but if you can have only one, this one is it. The performances are first rate, and the recording itself was extremely well done. This show is as politically hot today as it was seventy years ago. (If only iTunes would offer the second disc, which contained an introductory speech by John Houseman, detailing the legendary first performance.) This one is a must for fans of Marc Blitzstein, Patti Lupone, or just musical theatre for grown ups.
