Where has this young lady been. She has a beautiful voice. The minuet I heard it I thought WoW what a fresh new voice. I'm buying this. I would like more.

Every track on this CD is pure refined gold...... no fillers or artificial sweetners. She is truly the best kept secret in the music world. It's a shame I haven't heard of her until now.

If I had to choose ten albums to live with for the rest of my life, this would have to be one of them. I feel as though the world should know about this release. The world, or at least the powers that be are sleeping on this one. I have seen Carol perform several times, and I KNOW that she can stand flatfooted and sing every song on this album with no problem. This release has been a blessing in my life, especially "A Better Me" and "It's Okay." You have not lived until you see her sing "I Don't Wanna," live. Simply AWESOME!

HER VOICE IS UNFORGETABLE AS WELL AS PHENOMINAL!!

With songs like "You Better Not Hurt Me" and "I Don't Wanna" you have truly captured the emotion I have personally experienced, with a voice that truly illuminates in it's own right, you have a powerful talent that inspires and touches, I look forward to hearing more.

This artist is powerful. Please make sure that you check her out so that she can continue to keep making her music. I hope that her songs hit the main airwaves she should be heard! The whole CD is simply wonderful.

It's about time that there was finally a soul singer to come along and take over the ranks of such singers such as Anita Baker and Sade. A lot of modern singers only sound good enough for the music that they are making or have been retouched to the point that when you hear them live, they don't sound anything like the record. Carol is NOT one of those singers. I can play this album all day and relax with a cup of coffee. No doubt one of the best records of the year and a truly original voice.
