The guys all want Miss Thang. The gals all want to be Miss Thang. Lavay has got such a confident seductive naughty vibe that her persona simply rolls over today's 'sexy' pop stars. Great voice. Fun sexy energy. Top notch band that can lay it on thick just like she can. They are a modern band, but capture that old sound perfectly. They respect this genre of music. I'd say 14 of the 16 songs have great replayability. If you like the swing/big band sound, but don't know what to get, this is a great start as any.

This is a fun, well done cd. Listen to the different jazz styles they present to you in this cd and the ability they have to honor the legacy of the best of those styles from the past while still putting their own stamp on them. I loved the arrangements. My personal favorites are the T-bone solos, rolling piano, and clean guitar accompaniment. How does Lavay get her voice to sound like an instrument? See them perform live if you can because they are talented and downright energetic. These musicians have fun doing what they're doing and they do it well. Personal favorites were Sent For You Yesterday, Voo-It, and Big Fine Daddy.

If you like jazz or divas, Lavay is the one. Part diva, part pinup, this girl can sing and her band really swings!

No one can sing a story like Lavay can! Add her incredible Red Hot Skillet Lickers and you have a fantastic combination. You will be toe tapping, finger snapping and bopping with them.
