Excellent! Espcially "My Only Son" if you have ever lost a parent.

My only problem with this album is the title. "When Gravity Fails" is a great SciFi book by George Alec Effinger. The story takes place in the a cyberpunk future in the Middle East.

There are only a handful of instrumental rock artists that actually make music, the rest focus too much on their playing and usually end up just making noise. Thankfully, Zaza is one of the few that create music, joining the likes of Satriani, Vai, and Eric Johnson. The one thing that keeps him from really shining though, is that once he goes off the melody of the song, he plays the same chops and trademarks that litter EVERY one of his songs. Satch, Vai, and Johnson do the same thing of course, but no where near as much as Zaza. Still, this is an excellent album. Someone tell Satriani that Neil Zaza should be in his next G3.

Tone and heart. He not the fastest out there but master at tones and heart! Like Kiko Loudiero you don't get bored with his playing.

Wow! Wow! Wow! As an accomplished musician and fan of Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, etc, all I can say again is wow! First of all, this is a musically fabulous album full of passion, style, and beauty. Secondly, this guy (and his band) are amazing players. Technically, this guy is like Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani, and Ingwie all rolled into one, plus he writes great MUSIC. My new favorite guitar player is Neil ZaZa

ITS HOW I LIKE IT.ANDY TIMMONS, NEIL ZAZA AND ALL THE OTHERS FALLOWING IN SATRIANI'S FOOTSTEPS.THEIR MUSIC GOES BEYOND THE NORM FAR SURPASSING SIMPLISTIC MUSICAL CONCEPTS.

Neil Zaza has done it again with a fantastic group of songs that are sure to tantalize the serious music lover. From blues and jazz straight to heavy medal, this guy can do it all, and does many times over. My favorite tracks include Purple Plush and My Dearest.
