    This is the the recording (cassette tape 1984) that jump started my future in music education. I was first captured with the brass on "Fanfare for the Common Man" for such a long time then eventually became a "classical music fan". Flawless expression of all movements from the New York Phil make this recording a monumental classic. Bernstein always allowed them to push the limit and raise the standard.
