This album is great. It is pure harmony. Personal favorites are Someone To Keep Us Warm and Sharks, although the entire album is good and flows nicely from track to track. It never gets hard, but it does get catchy. The lyrics are equally as good as the music, check them out.

at first you realize how good these guys are but they dont blow their load so quickly that you lose interest after a few listens, even knowing that each song is great. It grows on you even with that fact. like many other first albums by other artists that went unknown in 2thou6 this band will blow up with their second album. Its to bad because this one is amazing.

Beautiful melodies combined with thought provoking lyrics make this a great album. "No Secrets", Someone to Keep us Warm", "Take the Money Out" and "Lost at Sea" are my favorite tracks. The sound is mellow and smooth, sometimes bluesy and sometimes folksy - always pleasing.

This is one of the only records from 2006 that I really enjoy. The Silent Years have it down. They write great songs, they're fantastic people, they are exceptionally talented musicians, and they put on an amazing live show. You really ought to do yourself a favour and buy this record!

Great selection of songs, tons of diversity without venturing too far from the bands "sound". Good guys, great musicians, awesome live show.

This year I've really let myself branch away from my usual staple of classic rock, and I've discovered some pretty amazing contemporary bands. The Silent Years are on the top of my list. I was lucky enough to catch them live right after this album was released, and it was a fantastic show. The songs on this album move me in a great way. Pay attention to this band!!
