these guys are ok rappers, but they have no substance. jack davey is a hip group that makes some cool music. that is the only reason to pick this up, or better yet download it elsewhere (wink). they are in a long line of others who bite the style of jay dee (r.i.p.), but if you've got no historical memory, then go for it. the latter make good music, even if it's not original. but bleu collar are base. support their music if you feel comfortable with two grown men who glorify sexual, physical violence against women in their raps, as well as decadent lifestyles they can only dream of enjoying. however, if you can't stand that kind of music, go pick up the new saafir or lupe fiasco. peace.

Bleu Collar fill hip-hop's biggest hole - the lack of great melody, flow and progression in most tracks out there today. These tracks are where more rappers need to go - real music, no gimmicks.

This is a straight classic melodic vignette. I don't even know how to classify this other than saying its in steady rotation. Smoothed out so tough by Basik and Jack Davey and then Reese 1 sets it all on fire. I can't wait to hear the rest.
