At first when i heard the music i was dissapointed too me the songs sounded a bit long and boring however i've listened to this soundtrack at least eight times. some of my favorite songs are Vesper, City of lovers, The bad die young and one of the most bitter-sweet songs is death of vesper and city of lovers . the only song i'm not to keen on is Miami International it's not a bad song just way too long coming in at 12:42. but other then that the songs on this album are always playing when i put my ipod on shuffle and i've practically memorized the names of the songs when i hear them. most of my music collection is movie soundtracks and my itunes wish list is mostly all movie soundtracks i want to download.

This is a masterpiece of movie scoring. I highly recommend the last half of "Blunt Instrument" and "I'm on the Money" as well as "Dinner Jackets," they aren't the greatest action scene songs but really do explore the James Bond Theme. David Arnold uses the James bond Theme in almost every song (But Transforms them and hides them, such as if Bond is in a different country David Arnold uses a native instrument to play it, etc.) as well as touches of "You Know my Name" Which can be purchased if you just search for it on the Itunes Store. "I'm on the money" has a taste of "You Know my Name" Indefinately. IF you own the movie, I think the most "Bond Scene" In the movie is at 1:08:22 and the music playing is the second half of "Dinner Jackets." It is a great bond moment and if you own the movie on Itunes you should go to that part. Overall, buy the album, as every song is good. And if you buy it, don't just listen to the first 20 seconds of a song. The good stuff usually comes at the second half of the tracks, (like the ones listed above)

I have often heard that a soundtrack is what makes a great movie so great. Casino Royale's soundtrack made the newest addition to the James Bond dynasty a truly phenomenal movie. I would suggest watching the movie first and then buying the soundtrack.

I love all the songs on the ablum but why don't they have the movie. The movie has been out for like 2 years and they still don't have it.

Casino Royale has a great soundtrack, Itunes should post other James Bond Scores, like Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Die Another Day, they are all very good as well.
