I just got this yesterday and I can't stop listening to it. "love in a Trashcan" and "Aly walk with Me" have been in my library for a while now but for whatever reason I didn't get around to checking out some of their other material until now. So glad I did. They have such a unique sound. I think it's brilliant. "Heart break stroll" and "little animal" are my favorites. I have been using itunes for a few years now but this is the first time I have been inclined to write a review if that tells you anything. Once I get my fill of this I am going to get all their other music and I am sure I will not be disappointed.

This album is awesome, and I love every single song. It's a breath of fresh air in a sea of bland, imitative indie rock. It receives my absolute highest reccommendation. Not since In the Aeroplane over the Sea has an indie rock album been so exhilarating. Get this one, not Pretty in Black, this one is way better.

Raveonettes are the new champions of noise rock, and they manage to combine it with a '60s pop twist that makes it an enjoyable listen. The melodies are upbeat and catchy! It's the kind of music you want to sing to yourself while you go do something fun and slightly reckless. That said, when you do start singing along, you may realize how uninventive the lyrics are. Noise rock in general puts much more effort into their sound than their lyrics, and while it is still enjoyable, it would have been better if they had something interesting to say. Also, some of the songs get quite repetitive, both in melody and lyrics. This album is great to listen to while dancing, but don't invest yourself too much in it or you will be left wishing there was more musical and lyrical creativity..
