"In a musical landscape that sometimes struggles to produce artists with a unique and innovative vision, Victoria Vox and her ukulele are a definite breath of fresh air - I highly recommend you check out her new album and try to catch her when she plays in the area."

Up until a week ago I had only heard of Victoria Vox but had not actually heard Victoria Vox - and I have played ukulele for years. Last week I was treated to an evening of Victoria Vox live with a few friends in Santa Cruz and the lady is simply amazing - her voice and ukulele playing is so refreshing, along with the songs she writes......I have never in my life written a review to itunes but I felt inspired because of how talented this young lady is and I want to encourage all to buy her music and get on board. I bought "Chameleon" and "Her Jumping Flea" and I can't stopping listening to her music. I look forward to the next time she is on the West Coast and I can catch another live performance.

she was teaching some kids at guitar camp (songwriting) at UWGB. She, not only an amazing ukelele player, but she is a good acoustic player too. I paticularly like her better live, but she is awesome studio wise.

I heard about Victoria on the radio show, "To the Best of Our Knowledge". I fell in love with "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and bought the song as soon as I got home. I will be watching Victoria for her next album showcasing the ukelele. I would love to hear some gritty, well-written, intricately composed Indy Rock showcasing the ukelele with positive lyrics for the whole family. How's that for a challenge? I am sure Victoria Vox is up to the challenge!

She isn't noticed as much as she should be. She has a great voice and I'm not a ukulele player, but she keeps a good rhthym!!! A lot of truely great artists are not really notice compared to simple pop music these days. Somewhere Over the Rainbow/ What a Wonderful World is amazing like Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. They both give the song a little something. I still prefer buying the cd in my local music store and that's where I'll go.
