I definatley agree with the last review. I'm only 14 too, yet I love these songs. Especially crimson and clover... it just makes me smile everytime I hear it :D

Crystal Blue Persuasion, Draggin' The Line, Sweet Cherry Wine and Sugar On Sunday. All great songs that couldn't fit on this "High-Five" - because everyone knows Tommy James's top 5 HAVE to include Mony Mony, Crimson and Clover, I Think We're Alone Now and Hanky Panky. So they insert Mirage? I guess they had to keep it totally clean. Nevertheless, giants of the pop sound. If you've never experienced this band before go for it!

I bought 3 of these songs on the Greatest Hits Live album, but was disappointed. James' voice seemed to lack the hint of sexy "breathiness" that I remembered. That really bothered me every time I listened, so I quit playing them. So, of course, I was excited to discover these original versions available now. I especially love "I Think We're Alone Now." After that, "Crimson and Clover" and "Mirage." As for the Clean label, the originals were not Explicit to begin with, so no need to think you're missing out on something. This band was considered playing "bubblegum" music in its time.

Why is there a "Clean Lyrics" lable on here? Don't Mess with The 1st Amendment Man! I'm going to buy this album somewhere else, because this is rediculos! Why censor the songs, let them be, as they were ment to Be! Over all it's a good album, but still I don't like the "Clean" lable.
  • Why The Clean Label?

Why is it tagged with having "Clean" lyrics when that should only apply "if" they edited out inappropriate lyrics. I know some of the songs are suggestive, but they don't swear or use dirty graphic words from the times I heard these songs else where. If they edited anything on this album why would they need to? Most importantly if they didn't edit something why tag it as "Clean Lyrics" when the majority of these types of music on iTunes are not. The "Clean Lyric" label should only apply if they edited something deemed inappropriate. Can someone verify if this album is censored. It would be helpful to buyers and it will assure me to buy it only if so. With lack of clarity that is why I give it the rating I do.

Really now, who can listen to any of these songs without feeling a little better about being alive? The "Crimson and Clover" (Long Version) (beginning with "I'm just gonna fool around man, like, just--do a thing, ya know, whatever, now, just, you know...") is worth $3.99 all by itself.
