A BRIGHTER DAY

Kevin So is some one who's music gives you energy when you listen to it. He sang "a brighter day" at my dads funeral so that song hits me especialy hard. but the whole album is amazing.

The song "New York City" is just so cool and chill... I've been listening to that song on my iPod all day.

A reflection of our lives… No, I am not an Asian American man living in New York City. I am a Black woman living in Tokyo, yet Kevin’s music is my story too. There is just something about these songs that brings me back again and again, has me setting the repeat on my iPod and keeps me singing in the street (this would be so much better if I could sing). If you do nothing else, buy the song “A Brighter Day,” play it, feel it, and see how quickly you start singing along. I have been a fan for 7 years, and Kevin’s music is like a soundtrack for life: his, mine, yours, ours. I have found a song for all occasions somewhere in my Kevin collection. This CD is full of themes, dreams and possibilities for life. Listen to it and just feel good. Amazing musicianship… and real singer/songwriter!
