How many words should I use to convince you to buy this album? Amazing, wonderful, exceptional, etc... This album is for people who demand a listening experience from beginning to end - a must have for true fans of music. Not just a couple of decent singles to hold you over till the next album. Trust no one's review... buy, and listen for yourself. You will not regret it.

There are certain bands that you know you'll love within the first minute of hearing them. No More Kings was that kind of band for me, and this one was, too. If you listen to anything, listen to Love Again. It's spectacular.

An amazingly refreshing album, with distinct vocals and bold lyrics. I am incredibly glad that Pandora discovered this gem for me. I immediately purchased the digital download, and ordered the actual physical copy of the CD from their website. Their cover of Eleanor Rigby was enough to justify the purchase. And unlike many albums, every track is worth listening to. And you WILL be coming back to them.

this album is soooo good! i absolutley adore Someone, it's one of my favorites. i'm a huge Beatles fan, and i usually don't like covers that sound too far off from the original, but i love their Eleanor Rigby cover. my two other favorites are Love Again and When All Is Said and Done. all in all, this is a really good album and i love it. that being said, why isn't this band more popular?!?!

This is such a good band so much better than the ones popular today, i can't understand why they are not more popular. They are catchy but not cliche, BUY THE ALBUM!

This really is a great band. The album is solid and there's a lot to hear and get from them. Every song has a specific feel unto itself. However, here's the problem. This isn't the album. Just like their Astonish Entertainment compatriots, No More Kings, had happen before iTunes has yet to post the entire album for sale. Not sure when they'll correct this mistake, but it took a while for the entire NMK album to be posted.

I have to say that I love songs that you can understand but that are still different, catchy and songs that have an interesting structure supporting clever lyrics. In Dirt Poor Robins I have all of these qualties. Having been drawn to them initially through a misguided web search for a song used in a commercial with whistling in it (I found Love Again), I now feel that I have another new band to add to my favorites. Every song is is a jewel.

Very innovative and theatrical - clearly this is concept driven and while the songs stand alone it's really experiential to listen from beginning to end. This is in my top five for 2007 - what a surprise from a band I know so little about. Among the highlights, "Great Vacation" and "Someone" are outstanding and although I'm not big on covers "Eleanor Rigby" is an appropriate and worthy addition to the overall concept.

It is very rare to find a mixture of melody and meaningful lyrics encompassed in a contemporary package. I brings me to many places - much like a well loved book. Dirt Poor Robins has something to say and they do it with awesome musicality. Rock On!!!!!
